What causes water damage?

What types of water damage are covered in homeowners insurance?

The plumber will also ask about the timeline of the damage—some plumbers may try to err on the side of the company, which means your claim may be denied. Mold from water damage
Mold is a very common problem for homeowners. For homeowners insurance, however, mold is only covered when it’s caused by a covered incident, such as faulty plumbing or vandalism.
